Battle Nations App Reviews
I just received a Mini Mac as a gift so that I would have computing power above that that is available on my iPhone. I was looking forward to a more rounded “gaming experience” (better graphics and game selections) and have come away a bit disappointed. The capabilities of my phone may not exceed those of my Mini, but you couldn’t prove it by the selection of games that are available. “Battle Nations” simply seems like a militaristic version of “FarmVille.” I am truly sorry, I had such hopes.
Some people woud consider that advertising this game as “free” is disingenuous; some would consider that as dishonest and abusive. There is no free lunch. You want to have “fun”; you gonna have to spend at least $100 in nanopodes very easily. Otherwise, the game won’t be that entertaining. It is always remarkable noticing the kool-aid some people have been seeping while being nickled and dimed by Battle Nations. Graphics are poor, battles are monotonous, lots of farming are required if you don’t want to lose your shirts on nanopodes. The latest releases have been disappointing; some features are disappearing (ex: expand/reduce the screen size on Mac OS X; you have to quit the app in order to change the display), uge memory leak now happening as soon as you step away from the game for 5 minutes; you end up having to force quit the application because it is not responding.
While in app purchases and waiting times can get annoying at least this game mixes it up with a hilariouse story line and characters to entertain along with strategic PVP battles. Very funn. Also people complaining about nann pods, get tap joy and get them for free, also you get some for leveling up, I suggest using most of them for storage vaults.
A phenomenal game! …can’t stop playing it! ;) It’s like Clash of Clans or Boom Beach, but with an actual story line and much more intricate gameplay! :)
Absolutely addictive! Really enjoying this game as it unfolds. As others have mentioned, the main issue with this challenging game is that it’s almost impossible to stop playing!
I love this game so much!! i play it almost everyday and in all my free time!!! It invloves a decent amount of strategy and patients along with very addictive!!!
love this game
best thing to take over my life
Upgrading of units and resources
It would be better if the upgrading of units can be done not one at a time.
At first when you start, you are like "Aw yeah, lets do this" Then throughout the game it gets even more fun when you try to unlock new vehicles/troops and pvp against other people, and not only that, but the freaking infected troops look sick/cool!!! The animations for the Guerillas and other troops are amazing!!!
BattleNations
Enjoy this game immensely. Characters are hilarious.
It’s a slow slow slow game. They make everything take for ever (up to days for one thing to be built and nothing else can be built while one thing is being built, but you can pay $ to get it built faster). Then the game starts hitting you up for more money. 5, 10 even 100 dollars. It’s ridiculous. It’s a shame game companies have gone to being so greedy instead of building a game and charging a fair price. They want more money than you pay for an Xbox 1 or PS4 game………Save your time and money cause this one is a waste of both time and money.
I don’t normally wright reviews but I owe this game one. This is the best game on OSX to date. The game may seem like it starts off slow but it’s worth the time you put into it. There is a great community of players that will help you in the beginning to learn you way through this turn based game. Fun building your outpost and fun competing with other players in a PvP based enviroment. Some say that you ned to pay a lot to play this but I dissagree as it can be played completely for free. After a while you may want to spend a couple of bucks to buy some advanced buildings but if you choose not to it will still be a fun game to play. Try it and I’m sure you will find it as rewarding as I have.
Great!
Great tactical MMO!
The first 70 levels may take a while and the progress of leveling up the troops can be painfully boring but that’s only part one of the game. The big game starts when you become part of an active alliance and work together in the advanced level of the game after lvl 70. Check out the WIKI and the advice on the forums. Don’t get in a hurry and this one can be very entertaining.
worlds most expensive game
This would be an awesome game if it didnt cost so much to play. You either pay to speed things up or wait 24 hours to complete the smallest mission.
I like Battle Nations and Ive been playing it for a while, but the last 6 months have seen almost no activity in terms of missions or events. The events used to occur every other week and were great to bring players together. But the events seem to have stopped, as has almost all game development. Its a shame.
While this is an awesome game, it’s going through the same death throes as Trade Nations, another Z2 game. Nothing new has happened in months and the once active and addicted community is wandering off to other pastures. Save your time and money. Unless they do something to show some love to the game soon, it’s only a matter of time before it goes dark, imo.
Not too far into this yet, and still depending on tutorial mode, but this looks like a pleasant way to pass the time and be entertained. I get to shoot things, so what’s not to like? I’m looking forward to seeing how far this goes and what the game becomes if it is expanded over time.
Amazing Game
Even though you will always be behind, or wasting 24 hours of your life trying to get one item, it’s still an amazing game to play
First of all: TRY IT It takes a little time to actually get somewhere in the game, but it is worth it. I have had the game for over a year now, but there is not any more events. There are thousands of players who have the game, but they are never active anymore. The game seems to have died down a lot, but that does not mean it is not fun. I still love playing this game, and I probably always will. It is a great game, and I highly reccomend it.
